Voyager, and every space probe that followed it, encountered a barrier around the Sol system. For 500 years, humanity could not explain its destruction, except to say that it crashed into an invisible wall. Many theories abounded, with such a clear indication that someone must’ve locked us up—but who and why? When a gap was discovered in the wall, humans did the only thing that could bring answers. We sent a ship through to the unknown: whatever was outside our apparent prison. This is the story of how little we knew about our reality…and how we began to learn.
