Regis Nightfallen, an Ancient Primordial Vampire, was in slumber at the bottom of the ocean when the system apocalypse arrived. Upon his awakening and driven by hunger to seek sustenance, he ventures out from his bed in the sand and soon finds sharks shooting energy beams and a bizarre portal that supposedly leads to the surface—where the humans that hunted him in the distant past reside. It had been a thousand years since he last walked on the surface, and he decided he was sick of eating fish. So, with some apprehension, he entered the portal and returned to the land of humans.The only issue was he'd been deemed a [Monster] and assigned the role [World Boss of the Northern Sea] by the system. Dungeon bosses weren't supposed to walk out of their dungeons and explore the world. But he did it anyway.
