In a world where all humans are born with a power they can strengthen and control as they please, what would you do if your power came with a price each time you wanted to use it? This is really just a short story that I wrote five or six years ago and recently found again. It was the start and inspiration of my entire writing career and fictional universe so I decided to fix it up and release it. (and yes RoyalRoad, I am ShiranuiShukumei and I am fine with the story being released both here and there.)
