Tarrin Vorstund was your ordinary 16 year old going to your ordinary Magik Academy in the kingdom of Harron. That was last year, now 17, after spending 3 months as a Squire of the kingdom, after the savage Urku launched an unsolicited raid on their nothern territories, Tarrin returns to the Three Rivers Academy, in the city of Ambris. Everything has changed and nothing at all. He's older, stronger, wiser... which doesn't seem to help him as much in his second year of school as he'd hoped.
