Synopsis
In the year 1800, strange dust fell from the sky after a week-long meteor shower. The plague that followed was virulent and painful, but ultimately non-lethal. Humanity changed. No longer was power solely determined by wealth, by country, by blade.
Isaac is a nerdy, unambitious owner of a small convenience store when his powers awaken. Genre-savvy, good-intentioned, and far too quippy for his own good, he has to navigate the politics of becoming a superhero.
Petra buckles under the weight of balancing her super-family's expectations, her civilian relationships, and finding out what happened to her estranged uncle, Flarejet.
Alex has long known he's a super. But tech-based heroes rarely make a name for themselves in the violent world of superheroing, least of all intrepid 14-year-old geniuses.
This is a multiple-POV story in a world of superheroes, not limited to the three characters mentioned. In this story you can expect:
-Superhero tactics and organizations
-Corporate, governmental, and freelance heroes, villains, and anything in between
-Super relationships and their complications
-Super hijinks
