Synopsis
And, conversely, a fist is power. For much of human history, the fist has been a symbol of strength.
It is used to represent the power of an army, and the unity of a nation. It is the salute of resistance, a show of solidarity. We clench our fists when we are angry or filled with righteous fury. To rule with an iron fist is to have total control.
The essence of a fist is the desire to strike down those who wrong us and the things we hold dear.
What to do, then, when threatened with death? Should one accept their powerlessness and resign themselves to their fate? Or, should they continue to fight tooth-and-nail despite the futility of their actions?
Sometimes, the actions of one can change the seemingly inevitable, purposefully or entirely by accident.
