'The next batch of players will be arriving soon.'  'Remember to act your part well. Don't step out of bounds. Don't go out of character or you'll suffer the consequences.' In the game world, Faye was nothing but an NPC who owned a bookstore. That was all the players saw, and that was what she was known as, but what if she was more than that?  After a meeting with the 'main character' of the game, things take a turn for the NPC Faye and she becomes more aware of her status and the world around her, more than she ever did before.
