After dying trying to save his friends from a fire, our narrator is transported to another world; Sehal. He was brought there by a goddess who took pity on him, and offers him any two things he wants. Wanting to be a better man than he had been, he chooses to do something with his hands, and remembering how enjoyable and mediative making pottery was in school, chooses to become a potter in his new world. On his arival, he meets a girl beiong chased by the guards, and she pleads for his help. He agrees, and the two make thier escape. Will they get away? Who is the girl? Will he ever get to make any damn pottery?!
