We follow Sarah, a girl living in the comfortable residential district of a huge space station. Growing up a sheltered life she is not prepared for a life of hardship. When her mother suddenly dies she finds herself with nothing. Sarah's journey is one of growing up and self discovery as she navigates the harsh life of one of the stations unskilled labor force.Behind the scenes the wider universe is dealing with the aftermath of the Colonial War. the once allies have turned upon on another splitting even further apart as they scramble to claim strategic star systems to further secure their territory. Things so far have never gone as far as open conflict but that is about to change as a powerful Corporation seeks to use a new weapon to force its ascent and domination over everyone. At the edge of human space something waits and watches. an ancient thing, could it be related to Forge Tech the miraculous technology responsible for humanities swift move into space? and are we ready to find out?This story is character driven and features lots of slice of life, set in and around space stations, ships and many other places. The main character progresses from a sheltered teen into a strong woman over the course of the story. In time the main character will interact more with world events but mostly she is just an observer in the early stages. Warning Contains sensitive scenes, depictions of depression and grief. Also contains diverse peoples, genders, sexualities, religions ect. although these are in no way the focus of the story, they are there for flavor and detail. and in the same way that the real world has diversity, so does mine.
