Synopsis
A Pawn's duty is to their Sovereign, to wage war and die in their name. Despite this, many Pawns like Cross support the Sovereigns' War from the supply line, far from the frontlines and bereft of glory. But when his chance finally comes in the form of an important mission, Cross finds himself stranded on an unknown world in enemy territory when things go awry.
Now hunted by enemy forces, Cross is forced to rely on an unfamiliar crew if he hopes to salvage the mission. But good Pawns don't hesitate in the face of overwhelming odds.
