Someone is going to have to bring law to this wild town, break the stranglehold aliens have over human technological advancement, and help protect the frontier settlement from greedy ancients, waves of monsters, criminal gangs, and bored murderhobos. Even if that protection might take the form of dirty deeds done for the right reasons. What to expect- Dungeon crawling. Villains who prey on others, including women and children. A protagonist who used to be a trained killer back before his body rotted away. He was a very bad man doing a very evil job as a government hitman. He sometimes gets some pretty evil urges, but he's trying to live his life right... even if that means doing bad things for good reasons. Lots of foreplay and flirting, but no over-the-top descriptions of male or female body parts or chapter-long sex scenes. Some graphic violence, but not wading through oceans of blood. Definitely Rated R. Single or omniscient viewpoints only. This story is not epic and doesn't have multiple POV characters. That means that the Bechdel test can take a hike and not let the door hit it on the way out.
