Synopsis

I was executed. I came to a new world. I was given a second chance! Before my birth, the worlds were in decline. Upon my execution, I was taken to another world which was cursed with destruction. I came with the destiny of death. I had little resolve in myself because of the things I had done. Yet I sought to right the wrongs committed in the new world. The demons wished to conquer what was left of the Freelands. With whatever they destroyed, my desire to be more inflamed me. My story is of their destruction and of my reprisal. I honed my powers, mastered the mechanics of the world, and rose above all others. At last to become the one who mastered their own fate. The one who had conquered death. Synopsis 2: Do you want more meat and substance in your story? One where a second reality is so detailed and alive that it feels like the second coming of Middle-Earth? Well this should surely tickle your pickle! A character and world-driven story told from the perspective of a great sage, who clues to his audience the purpose of his life as he speaks it to another. Unlike many other stories on this site, I aim to keep the narrative as close to current-day publishing standards as possible. Expect very few if any errors, epic-styled prose, with a dash of pseudo-mythology to immerse you in a world full of tragedy and comedy. The narration of the story is in first person with few instances of second-person usage as our hero, Yurva, addresses both the person he is speaking to as well as us the audience. If this seems up your alley, then definitely read this story! Info: [Chapter Length: Usually 800 - 2000 words] [Warnings: There is some instances of either sexual violence, rape, or abuse, in the later chapters as well as instances of gory conflicts. I will do my best to be tasteful about these elements and not let them linger too long.] [If you like traditional Epic/High Fantasy, please check my other work The Last Sage!]
