Once Alex selected his choice the ground beneath his feet shook. He furiously swore at the system as his face slammed into the sandy dust. Placing his palms down, Alex got into a push up position to stabilize himself. He figured that he would ride out this system generated earthquake until whatever is happening finishes.

Seeing as how Alex had nothing to do but stay down he looked around at his surroundings hoping to find the source of the shaking. It was kind of hard to make anything out with all the vibrations so he turned his eyes to the ground to stop the disorientation. That was when he noticed what truly was happening.

The ground was changing.

Once Alex took notice, he could feel subtle changed in the soil under his hands. The loose dust that made up the asteroids surface was growing denser. Not much, but it was like comparing acumulated dust in an abandoned home to the consistance of kinetic sand. While this new sand possessed little to no grit as its namesake was known for it was still better than the dust that would float away at every movement. 

After another five minutes the asteroid regained its stability. Taking this as an oporrtunity to look around, Alex slowly stood up. Nothing in terms of scenery had changed, but there was a shift in the air that couldn't be described. It was almost like the area around him was recognizing him as its owner. It was a very strange feeling to Alex.

Dungeon Zone Established.

Master may now activate Core Formation.

"What is Core Formation? I thought the only skill I had was Establish Core. What does this mean system?" Alex asked.

Replying to Master.

Master had used the skill Establish Core. This begun the process of building a dungeon. Now that the process has begun Master must follow the instructions as new skills are being produced from the destroyed first skill.

"I guess that makes sense," Alex mumbled to himself. "Wait why did my first skill get destroyed?"

The Establish Core skill is a single use, consummable skill. Once activated its function is performed outside of Masters control. This also means that from the fragments new skill can be made during the process.

"Alright system. Thank you for clarifying."

I live to serve, Master.

Alex thought for a bit before asking the system one last thing before moving forward. "System, can you show me the Dungeon Master class skills? Display the skills that are being created from the fragments of Establish Core."

"Hmm, I see. Very well lets proceed. Begin Core Formation."

Acknowledged Master.

Beginning Core Formation Portocols...

Nothing happened.

Looking around Alex could only see the sand beneath his feet for miles and the endless sea of stars above his head. Scratching his head, Alex was about to ask the system if something was wrong when a change occured in 2 feet in front of his foot.

The soil was collecting. So much sand was rushing in front of him that his feet dropped 3 feet to the stone beneath the surface. All the gray dust that was thrown into the air could be seen spiraling down to meet the sand forming a gray cyclone. A gray cocoon of dust was formed. 10 seconds ticked by in silence as Alex waited for something to happen.

On the 15th second, the cocoon started imploding on itself. It could be seen from the surface as small depressions were continuously being formed, collasping inward. From the 3 meter ball of dust, now something else was being formed. The implosion stopped when a metallic stone smaller than a grain of rice was floating above the ground. 

Following some unknown instinct, Alex slowly reached toward the stone. As his palm cupped up towards the sky, the stone floated over to rest in his hand. As skin made contact Alex felt a rush of power flow through his veins.

Dungeon Core Formed.

Proceeding to establish dungoen typing.

Beneat Alex's feet, the stone started to become patterned. Standing on the now cobblestone platform Alex began to rise. "Wait. What is happening." Alex said with a mix of awe and panic. The platform he was standing on was elivating himself until he was standing on a single story cobblestone hut. In his hands, the Dungeon Core glow changed to a single tendril that creeped down to touch the stone. 

Mana Ki

"Uh. What?" 

Master must choose one to obtain the skill Energy Generation. Later Master will have the opportunity to posess the other. 

"Wait. Wasn't the Core Management skill the next to be unlocked. Why did we skip to Energy Generation?"

No Master. Core Management as well as Creature Creation are both active skills that you yourself have to utilize. I will start the tutorial for those later. For now it would be ore efficient if Master decided on which form of Dark Matter energy the Dungeon is going to manipulate.

"System. Can you give me a general decription of the two befoer I make my decision." Alex wasn't asking, but had started to give out orders. He figured an AI wouldn't care either way.

As you wish, Master.

Mana is an external energy that can be manipulated and augment the mind. Ki is an internal energy that enhances the body while being gnerated from the users heart.

Well for a dungeon this seems like a no brainer. Although I could use Ki, the dungeon itself would not as it isn't organic, but a building. "System, I choose Mana to be generated."
