Divine Smith Sordrocks Apprentice

Divine Smith Sordrocks Apprentice:

Relation with blacksmiths increased by 25, Chance to get a proficiency bonus when smithing using this title.

"Now that you have become my apprentice I can show you the basics of blacksmithing." He turned and went towards forge, I followed after him, the best part about becoming an apprentice is that I would be able to improve my skills when watching Sardrock forge.

He starts by adding coal to the forge and using the bellows to get to the proper temperature to melt the iron ore, after watching him add the metal so it can melt down he then pour the liquid iron into the mold, wait for it to be a bit more solid then break the mold out, then turns towards the anvil and starts to shape the iron into a sword . I watch as he continuously goes back and forth from melting reheating the metal to shaping it with his hammer and anvil and cooling the metal, then finally honed the blade, it takes a total of 2 hours to finish creating the weapon.

He walks over to me and hands me the sword, "Take it."

"But didn't you just put your hard work into this sword so how could I take it?" I had never been a blacksmith so I didn't know why he would want me to take his sword.

"You have become my one and only apprentice, of course, I have to give you a gift." he was adamant on giving me the sword.

I ended up taking the sword and used identify on it

Iron Sword (Purple - Epic)

Iron sword made by the Divine Smith Sordrock for his precious apprentice.

Level required: 10

Attack: 20-30

Strength + 3

(Appraisal Required)

I was shocked by the sword he made, not only did was it purple grade, but it also required an appraisal, meaning that not all the stats are being shown on the sword, I couldn't get over the fact that it was purple, of course, the only negative thing about items you equip is that they glow the weapon-grade, meaning that my sword would glow purple showing people I have a purple grade weapon, making me a target for more and more people.

This story originates from a different website. Ensure the author gets the support they deserve by reading it there.

Fortunately for me, I am not high enough to use this sword yet, so I can avoid drawing attention from people by using a purple grade sword.

Noticing the time I decided to log off.

...

After logging off I started to prepare food for the family, my parents were watching T.V in the other room, I could hear them chatting with each other about me.

"What do you think she does in that capsule all day?"

"She's young, let her play her games for a couple of years, then she can get a job."

After that they stopped talking and continued to watch T.V. until the food was ready.

After eating food, I went back to my room and slept.

...

When I woke up, I had a shower, ate breakfast and went back into Pandora.

Walking back to the blacksmith I noticed that those people who I hadn't seen for a while were back, and they were causing trouble for Sordrock again.

"Whats wrong with you this time?" I walked up and asked them.

"Its none of your business." The lackey behind Dominator Chris replied arrogantly.

"Well it is, I am the apprentice at this blacksmith." I replied seriously, I had started to treat the NPCs with just as much respect as my parents, so when they started to make trouble with Sordrock I started to become furious.
