It was supposed to be a special night for this family, and it was. Just not in the way they intended. Plucked from their reality, the family meets a being calling itself Sum who tells them that their world is being integrated into the multiverse. They are fundamentally changed to have some sort of advantage and are given a selection of weapons they can choose from before being dropped back off in the middle of a forest to fend for themselves. To top it all off, their cats ran away. To think this all started because a ring chose Fayde to be a Monarch.
