In a world of where magic is not just a source of power, but a currency that shapes the fate of everyone. Overture of Ice introduces us to Rayen, a boy with a troubled past and an uncertain future. In a society where the power of Runes dictates one's social standing, Rayen's unique Set becomes a curse. Will he rise above this curse, fall to ruin, or worse: fall to the deepest depths of depravity? Mind the tags folks, I plan on going in a somewhat dark direction with this story. This story will be on a dimmer switch, with varying degrees of light before it goes fully dark. This is of course a work in progress and I'll add/remove tags as necessary.
