We ordered an Uber to our new mansion after packing up everything from the hotel. Jiho, always the organized one, cancelled the rest of our reservation. Once we were all set, we slid into the luxury Uber and began our trip across the city toward our new home. The excitement in the car was almost tangible, and none of us could stop grinning. This whole thing—accepting Akari’s offer, diving into the unknown—was turning out to be the best decision we’d ever made.
As we drove through the city, the conversation naturally flowed, jumping from topic to topic, but the underlying current was always the same: life was good. Real good.
“You know,” Jiho started, turning his gaze to Isak, “I’ve been meaning to ask... are you finally over Lady Bellatrix? Or are you still holding out hope?”
Isak grinned, leaning back in his seat with a laugh. “Yeah, yeah, I’m over her. She’s a rush, sure, but she’s nuts. And let’s be real, with the kind of future I’ve got ahead of me, there’s gonna be plenty of other beauties coming my way. Maybe I’ll even build that harem I’ve always talked about.”
Abel, sitting next to Isak, rolled his eyes and cut him off. “The harem thing’s never going to happen, Isak. Get over it.”
Jiho chuckled, but then turned the tables, giving Isak a raised eyebrow. “Alright, fair enough. But what about you, Jiho? Have you gotten over your ex yet?”
The smile faded from Jiho’s face, his expression growing more thoughtful. He glanced out the window for a moment before replying. “I don’t know if anyone could replace her, honestly. But I know I’ve gotta stay open-minded.” He looked at me for a second, and I nodded in agreement.
“Yeah,” I said, my voice quiet. “You never know what the future holds.”
Abel, clearly wanting to keep the conversation moving, turned to me. “And how are those earbuds you bought, Haru? You’re glued to them half the time.”
I grinned, nodding. “They’ve been perfect. It’s crazy though—every famous artist and song from our world is here too. The only weird part is some of the lyrics are a bit different because of this world’s... well, differences, but honestly? It’s amazing.”
Abel let out a satisfied hum, looking smug as usual. “Good. Just remember to thank me for bringing Akari into our lives. Without me, none of this would’ve happened.”
We all rolled our eyes, but before we could say anything else, the Uber slowed to a stop. We looked out the windows and... there it was.
The mansion.
My breath caught in my throat. It was enormous—far bigger than I imagined, even after seeing the pictures online. The architecture was stunning, a flawless mix of modern elegance and traditional craftsmanship, perfectly blending with the style of the city. The wooden beams, the layered roofs, the cherry blossoms lining the courtyard—it was beautiful. It was unreal.
We all got out of the car, standing there in stunned silence for a few moments, just taking it all in. The mansion loomed before us, a symbol of everything we had accomplished—and everything that still lay ahead. I could feel the weight of it, the responsibility and the excitement, swirling in the pit of my stomach.
“Wow,” I finally breathed out, unable to tear my eyes away from the place. “We’re really going to be living here.”
The others stood next to me, equally awestruck. For a few moments, none of us said anything, just letting the reality of it all sink in. This was our home now.
And it was only the beginning.
We stood there for a moment longer, soaking in the sight of the mansion. But just as we were about to walk up the steps, a young man appeared from around the side of the house. He was probably in his mid-twenties, well-dressed in a tailored black suit with an air of professionalism that reminded me of one of those real estate agents back home. His hair was neatly slicked back, and he had an easy smile on his face as he approached.
“Good afternoon,” he greeted, giving us a slight bow, which caught us all off guard. “You must be the Tadashima brothers. Welcome to your new home. My name is Kaito, and I’ll be giving you a tour of the property before handing over the keys.”
We exchanged glances, still a little dazed by everything. Jiho, being the friendliest of the bunch, was the first to speak up. “Hey, Kaito. Thanks for meeting us here. Lead the way.”
Kaito smiled and gestured toward the grand entrance of the mansion. “Please, follow me.”
As we stepped onto the stone path leading to the main doors, I couldn’t help but feel like we were walking into something surreal. This wasn’t just some house—it was a fortress of luxury.
Kaito unlocked the front door with a sleek electronic key, and the massive wooden doors creaked open, revealing a vast entrance hall that took my breath away. The first thing that hit me was the sheer size of it. The ceiling stretched up two stories, with a grand staircase leading up to the second floor, and intricately carved wooden railings lining the sides. The floor was polished marble, reflecting the soft glow of the crystal chandelier hanging above.

"This," Kaito began, “is the main foyer. It leads to most of the key areas on the first floor and gives access to the upper levels of the house.”
Abel, always practical, crossed his arms, taking it all in. “How many rooms are we looking at?”
Kaito turned to him with a polite nod. “In total, there are 12 bedrooms, each with its own en suite bathroom. Five of those bedrooms are master suites, which means you’ll have more than enough space for guests or other needs. There are also multiple lounges, a dining room, a library, and a few other surprises.”
Jiho whistled under his breath. “Twelve bedrooms? What are we, royalty?”
Kaito smiled, a hint of amusement in his eyes. “You’ll find that this property has more than enough room for whatever you need. Now, if you’ll follow me, I’ll show you the dining room and kitchen.”
He led us through a pair of wide double doors, and we entered a massive dining room that could easily seat at least twenty people. The table was made of rich, dark wood, stretching from one end of the room to the other, with ornate chairs lining each side. Large windows covered the walls, flooding the space with natural light, and cherry blossoms from the courtyard outside cast a gentle pink hue over everything.
Jiho ran his hand along the table’s edge, clearly impressed. “Man, we could host some serious parties here.”
“Indeed,” Kaito agreed with a nod. “The dining room is perfect for entertaining, and the kitchen is state-of-the-art, designed for both casual dining and more elaborate meals.”
We followed him through another set of doors into the kitchen, and it was... well, it was a dream kitchen. Sleek, modern appliances filled the room, with polished countertops, double ovens, and a massive island in the center. It looked like something out of a high-end cooking show.
“Everything here is fully automated,” Kaito explained, tapping on one of the sleek touchscreens embedded into the wall. “The kitchen comes with a smart system that can adjust to your preferences. You can control the temperature, set timers, or even order groceries with a single tap.”
Isak’s eyes widened as he looked around. “I’m not much of a cook, but... damn. This is next level.”
Abel smirked. “Might be time to start learning, then.”
We continued on with the tour, leaving the kitchen and heading back toward the main hall. Kaito took us down a long hallway lined with tall windows that offered views of the sprawling gardens outside. We passed several smaller lounges and sitting areas, each one furnished with luxurious couches and polished wooden floors.
“This room,” Kaito said, stopping in front of a large set of doors, “is the library.”
When he opened the doors, I half expected something out of a movie—and I wasn’t disappointed. The library was massive, with floor-to-ceiling shelves filled with books. A pair of leather chairs sat by the fireplace, and a rolling ladder lined the shelves, offering access to the higher volumes. Soft light filtered in through the large windows, casting a warm glow over everything.
“Yo, we’ve got a library in our house,” Isak said, shaking his head in disbelief. “This is wild.”
“It’s definitely a place to relax or study,” Kaito added. “And it’s stocked with a variety of literature, both ancient and modern.”
Abel, clearly intrigued, walked over to one of the shelves, his fingers brushing over the spines of the books. “Yeah, I could get used to this.”
Next, Kaito led us upstairs, showing us the bedrooms. Each one was spacious, with large windows, plush beds, and en suite bathrooms that rivalled the ones in high-end hotels. The master suites, though, were on another level—each one had its own private balcony, massive walk-in closets, and luxurious bathrooms with large soaking tubs and rain showers.
I caught sight of one of the balconies and stepped out, looking over the expansive garden below. The view was stunning—flowering trees, neatly trimmed bushes, and a koi pond nestled in the center of the courtyard. It was peaceful, serene, a stark contrast to the chaos we had been through lately.
“I think I’m in love with this place,” I muttered to myself as I took in the view.
After touring the bedrooms, Kaito took us back downstairs and led us out to the garden, which was just as impressive as the house itself. The path wound around a koi pond and led to a traditional-style tea house in the back. The entire space was filled with vibrant greenery, cherry blossoms, and small, intricately designed bridges that crossed over the gentle streams running through the property.
“This garden was designed to promote relaxation and peace of mind,” Kaito explained as we walked. “It’s the perfect spot to escape the stresses of life.”
Jiho grinned as he bent down to look at the koi swimming lazily in the pond. “Yeah, I could spend some serious time out here.”
We eventually made our way back inside, and Kaito led us to what was probably the most impressive part of the house—the underground level.
“This,” Kaito said, opening another set of heavy wooden doors, “is the recreational area.”
The room beyond was massive, with a private gym, a movie theatre, and even a gaming room equipped with the latest consoles and VR systems. There was also a sauna, a hot tub, and a pool table tucked away in the corner.
Isak’s jaw dropped. “Okay, now I’m officially sold.”
Abel crossed his arms, nodding approvingly. “We’re going to have everything we need right here.”
Finally, Kaito brought us to the gym, a state-of-the-art facility with every piece of equipment you could imagine. Abel was clearly impressed, nodding along as Kaito pointed out the various machines.
“And this,” Kaito said, pulling out a sleek, black case, “is for you.”
He handed the case to Abel, who raised an eyebrow as he opened it. Inside were the keys to the mansion.
“Congratulations,” Kaito said with a bow. “The mansion is now yours. If you have any further questions or need assistance, don’t hesitate to reach out to me or Narkul’s office.”
We all stood there for a moment, the weight of the keys in Abel’s hand signaling the reality of what had just happened. This was ours. This mansion—this life—was officially ours.
As Kaito made his way out, Abel turned to us, tossing the keys from hand to hand with a small grin. “Well, I think we’re all set.”
I looked around at my brothers, seeing the same mix of excitement and disbelief in their eyes that I felt.
“Yeah,” I said with a smile. “I think we are.”
This was it. Our new beginning.
It wasn’t long before a knock echoed through the mansion, reverberating down the hallways. We all made our way to the front door, wondering who it could be this time. When I opened it, standing there was an absolutely stunning young woman.
She was tall, poised, with silky auburn hair cascading in waves down her back, and a pair of fox-like ears poking up from the top of her head. Her warm brown eyes had a sharpness to them that gave her an air of authority, but her freckled cheeks added a charm that softened her otherwise stern look. Dressed in a sleek, tailored business suit that hugged her frame perfectly, she exuded both elegance and professionalism. The long, bushy tail that trailed behind her swayed lightly as she spoke with a calm, steady voice.
“Good afternoon. I am Anastasia Petrovna Ivanova, here on behalf of Mr. Narkul. I’ve been assigned to deliver you to him for your daily learning.”
She gave a polite bow, her formal demeanor unmistakable. I immediately recognized that she was the one Narkul had mentioned—his most trusted employee. But when I glanced over at Isak, it became clear that he wasn’t thinking about that at all.
Isak’s eyes were wide, his mouth slightly open, completely captivated by Anastasia. The memory of Lady Bellatrix seemed to have evaporated from his mind. He stood there, frozen in awe, as if Anastasia had wiped away any trace of his previous obsession with a mere glance. It was like watching a puppy get fixated on a new toy.
I smirked, unable to help myself. Things were definitely about to get interesting. Anastasia’s arrival wasn’t just about escorting us for our lessons anymore—it was now about watching Isak spiral into yet another crush, his attention completely shifted to this new, intriguing figure.
