In the movie industry, orcs always play stupid mooks that die in great numbers, slain by the glorious, majestically handsome elves, the masters of the movie industry, and the world. But many orcs in the studio New Elf Cinema are growing tired of this. They want to be more than just ugly bad guys that shows up and then dies. They want to be heroes in their own stories!The orc Morl Brownteeth in particular is an intelligent orc with some very radical ideas: He wants to form a union. An Orc Union, that fights for the rights of all orcs in the movie industry. The union will fight for every orc to be themselves, and to be free of exploitation, and to create their own movies. For orcs to be and do what they want to do and be their own bosses! For them to take over the movie industry!But their elven corporate overlords are not happy about this, and will do everything in their power to stop the orcs from forming their union. Will they succeed? This tale is a satire about all kinds of things, but mostly about politics and entertainment, and different tropes in fantasy movies/series/books, as well as internet culture. It is written from an overall working class perspective, and there will be references to different left wing theorists through the ages, and the labor movement, but jokes will be made about all sides of the political spectrum, including the left. Overall, I am rather fond of my proletarian gym bro orcs! I would love to open up this story for the audience to partake in creating it, so if people want to continue it with me they can suggest continuations in comments or in pms to me. Just as long as things follow an overall outline of what I plan thematically and the story keep its' soul.
