Michael Orbeck has lived his entire life as a cruel and selfish person.  The joy that fueled him in day-to-day life was fueled by making other people miserable.  One day, Orbeck dies from a heart attack and is faces by a mysterious being who claims to be God.  This entity shows extreme disappointment in Orbeck and decides to give him a second chance in a world almost identical to earth, but with a certain twist.  Orbeck is given powers of light, however, the more he uses these powers, the stronger they will become and the more his personality will warp and twist into something else.  How will Orbeck fare in his new situation?
