In the cold, bitter blanket of night, feathers flutter above the snow, and bloodstained earth-like petals of flowers are ripped off their stems by the wind of warfare. Eagles soar overhead, watching as the dogs pick from the bones of the fallen. A crow perches above the snow with eyes unmoving from a single butterfly fluttering among the pandemonium.  Amongst a world riddled with warfare, Sousuke Corvus Tor finds himself caught in the crossfire. As the youngest prince of the Torian empire, Sousuke is forced to betray his nation to quell a growing conflict that threatens his home nation's southern border. His betrayal sparks a civil war within Tor, leaving the country unprotected by the Elniran onslaught. Sousuke, now donning the name Crow, joins the Eagles of the Wind, a band of rebel Elniran troops led by the former prince of Elnir Zephyr Blakemore, and begins assisting groups of rebel Torians in suppressing the clashing nations.
