This story is a LitRPG urban fantasy with near-future tech about a veteran dwarf investigator and his friend, an island elf. They are tasked by a gang boss with finding a gnome who is cursed with a magical sombrero of infinite tequila. However, along their investigative adventure, the two friends discover the cursed gnome of far greater value to more people than the boss. As they search for the gnome, the dwarf and elf must deal with competing forces, all vying for the curse on the gnome. As these forces come to a head, the dwarf investigator realizes he must face the demons haunting his life. I hope you enjoy the story!
