Synopsis
Isaiah is the product of a Laryan mother and an Orian father. His mixed heritage and reserved nature earn him a lifetime of isolation. Even his mother avoids him for reasons unknown.
Despite this, Isaiah still does the right thing. He goes to a famous college and takes care of his mentally ill father without complaint.
And yet no one seems to care when he graduates.
Feeling lost, Isaiah develops a habit of setting dumpsters on fire. Night after night, he sneaks into an alley and ignites a dumpster, basking in the warming glow.
One evening while he is burning trash, Isaiah happens across an alien boy who is shunned for his skin color, and Isaiah is determined to return him to his family. Little does he know, the meeting will change not only the boy's life, but also his own...
