A student from his university, someone he exchanges a few words with now and then, gifts him a copy of Source Code, the world’s most popular and immersive VRMMORPG. Leonardo, puzzled, accepts the gift, though not without some skepticism. “Thank you, but... I’m not much of a gamer,” he says with an uncertain smile. “I prefer books. At least they let me travel with my imagination.” The student, however, doesn’t give up. “I gave it to you so you could travel,” she replies with a knowing smile. “If you can’t take a vacation in the real world, take one in the world of Source Code.” Once logged into Source Code, Leonardo is immediately faced with an unexpected twist that threatens to ruin his virtual vacation.
