Set in the future, an engineer with a deep past struggles with a new synthetic drug called bliss. While she battles her addiction to the strange pill, she confronts the dark secrets surrounding it and aims to set right many hidden wrongs. She is not alone, however, and finds the tentative company of many misfits and castouts of this futuristic society that reflects our own. From disgraced doctors to ex-criminals, this medley group attempts to shine some light on the cracks growing around them.
