Rend left his family farm in hopes of becoming a guardsmen and being able to provide more for his family. This one is my actual epilogue for my work 'Odin Stone'. If you've read 'Gregory' then you'll see there's a lot of similarities as it takes pace at the same time, but this one is a lot shorter. Which was a struggle for me, oddly enough.
