Synopsis
The galaxy is full of hot-blooded mercenaries, but Raven's blood runs cold.
Detached, remote, calculating. A chill wind follows her as she moves from battlefield to battlefield, fighting for cold hard cash with an icy determination. She deals death without hesitation and guns down her foes with uncanny accuracy. To those who witness her in combat, she seems to possess amazing reflexes. But in truth, she has a rare gift.
The Objective Eye.
The innate ability to sample the state of the universe and predict the future. Her gift has made her successful at war, but emotionally and psychologically barren. In witnessing the harsh, mechanical truth of objective reality, she has concluded there is no room for comfortable delusions like idealism and love in her life.
Yet, rather than being discouraged, Raven embraces her nihilism. She presses on, as unyielding as steel, into the galaxy's warzones. Her objective: to amass a fortune doing what she does best. Although her ability to see the future is underdeveloped, she knows if she can hone it into a razor-sharp edge, it will be the best weapon in her arsenal … and the key to becoming the richest mercenary in the galaxy.
