Near the end of the 21st century, mankind reaches a halt in its development. With overpopulated cities and lands ravaged by war, mankind fights over Earth’s limited resources. In order to solve Earth’s overpopulation, colonies were established on the Earth’s Moon as well as the planet Mars. It is during this time, in the year 2985, that something unexpected happens that changes everything.
-Prologue-
[Orbital Space Station, U.S. Harbinger]
“BLEHMP!”
“BLEHMP!”
“BLEHMP!”
The alarms blare across the space station and reverberate through the halls. “This is your Captain speaking. Everyone to your posts now! This is not a drill, I repeat, this is not a drill!” Captain Moore shouts through the intercom. The whole station erupts with alarm and a sense of urgency. Silas Oberon, second in command of the U.S. Harbinger, rushes past the other crew members as he makes his way to the bridge. As he gets to his post he looks outside into space and gasps. “My god…!” he exclaims as he peers out at nothing other than a black hole. “It just appeared out of nowhere Sir” the communications officer says. “We’re too close to it, we’re being sucked in! Captain Moore looks over at me and we exchange a knowing look. We both know that we are doomed and there is nothing that we can do. “Contact mission control, they need to hear about th…Oh shit!” he exclaims as a meteor shower spawns out of the black hole and hurls itself at them and Earth which lies directly behind them. The communications officer, Amelia Lockwood, hurriedly contacts Earth as a meteor heads straight for the bridge. Silas then suddenly awoke feeling startled. “AAARRRGGGHHH!!” he roars loudly, as though he were in severe pain or about to die. Looking around, he realizes it was nothing but a dream. “Nothing but a dream…” he says back to himself, as he contemplates the significance of having the same dream again for the third time. He gets out of bed to start his daily routine and to calm his mind. Then, as if it were prophesized, the alarms sound off…

[Moon Colony, Lunaria]
“Sir! I’m receiving an incoming distress call Sir. It seems to be coming from the U.S. Harbinger!” Michael Surion suddenly announces. “Understood, put it through to the loudspeaker now” says commanding officer Robert Winters.
(“…is Amelia Lockwood…”
“…the U.S. Harbinger…”
“…sudden black hole…
“…Emergency Evac…”
“…nothing that we ca…”)
“That’s the end of the transmission Sir. But that’s not all Sir…” he says uneasily. “We are currently picking up multiple heat signatures heading straight for Earth”. Michael then looks over at the commander and shudders at his expression. An expression that reflects pure terror. That’s right he thinks to himself. There’s nothing that we can do, and we all know it. The U.S. Harbinger was constructed as our last line of defense. “Is the..there nothing that we can do Sir?” he manages to stutter out. He notices now how bad he is shaking. “No private, there is nothing that we can do…” says Commander Oberon. “Nothing but wait, for it all to be over with…”
-Chapter 1-
Everyone is calling it “Judgement Day”, the day that everything changed. The day that the sky lit up as though it were enflamed, as meteors came crashing down to Earth’s surface. Cities were reduced to nothing but rubble and ruins. The landscape was torched and the demographics were altered so that you could no longer even recognize what used to be your home. Millions of people suddenly died in what seems like the blink of an eye. Chaos and devastation soon followed and spread among all of Earth’s survivors that were affected by this calamity.
