“Oh! A Dollar.”
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!
(Crap! What the hell! It just drops in right in the Sky!? Alright, It’s just a game, I’ll be fine. Just calm down.)
Composing himself, Robin observes the ground.
(Alright, snow. That should break the fall, but it won’t be a surprise if it damages my health a little.)
He braces himself as he aims for a large pile of snow.
(Here goes…)
Within a few seconds, he fully plunges into the pile of snow. He starts to climb his way out, and emerges 10 seconds later
“OW! I thought when you receive damage in VR games, you get a small jolt!? Why’d that hurt like hell!?
He gets up and checks his left arm.
“Gah! My arm….It’s broken! Is this for real!?” Screw this, I’m getting out of here!”
He slides his arm downward in the air in front of him, intending to open the menu and log himself out of the game.
“Huh? Where’s the menu!?”
He frantically repeats the same motion over and over, with each attempt being futile. Another realization hits him.
“No HUD either...Is this even a game!?Th-this is a joke right or hopefully just a bad dream? Please just be a dream….”
He grasps his arm again and winces. This was reality. He falls to ground.
“N-No....No, No, NO!
He punches the ground in anger. His thoughts turn to his old life.
“My family, my friends, and my old life...No, this can’t be like that one bad anime I watched.[1] There has to be some way to get out of here.”
He calms himself, but on the inside he remains shaken. He looks up at the sky.
“O-okay, the sun is nearing the horizon, it’s going to be sunset soon. I should ge-Gah!?”
He winces but not from his broken arm, he feels a sudden jolt throughout his body.
“AH! Damn…what was that?It felt like something shocked me. Ugh, I’ll think about it later. First, I should get going."
He stands up and gazes at his surroundings. He sees that he’s in a plain that was now filled with snow. To the south, he sees a trail going further down the plain. To the west, he sees nothing but white and blue, snow miles beyond and the sky meeting it at the horizon. To the east is a small canyon, also covered in snow. And finally a forest that was just in eye’s reach. Weighing his options, Robin decided to go towards the forest.
“I can at least sleep under a tree once things get dark. I really hope this world is inhabited by civilization.”
He begins his measly trudge towards the forest.
(“No HUD, no menu… Is this a real world?... This sounds way too crazy. Stuff like this only happen in shows. What’s next? Different races besides Humans? Magic? Dragons?....Flying Pigs? Well, at least I can make jokes at times like this.)
Unlawfully taken from Royal Road, this story should be reported if seen on Amazon.
He reaches the forest, and is greeted by small animal moving between his legs.
(“Was that a rabbit? At least I’m not truly alone.”)
He smiles but it quickly disappears once remembering the situation he’s in. He also take the time to look at his attire.
(“Huh, never really payed attention due to what’s happened. How’d my clothes change?)
Robin was now wearing a black hooded cloak, a white scarf, a blue shirt with a black outline, black pants and black boots.
*Tugs cloak and scarf* “Cool.”
*Pulls shirt* “This shirt doesn’t look like modern ones I see.”
*Pats pants* “No pockets. Boo”
*Taps boot on ground* “Not that bad looking.” Welp, at least I’m not naked. Naked, falling from the sky, face first in the snow? I’m shivering just thinking about it.”
(“I hope the way I’m heading leads to a town. Maybe I should’ve stayed where I was, take a nap, and wait for someone to find me. Then they would wake me up and say “There are better places to take a nap than on the ground, you know”[2]....yeah right.”)
He takes another look at the sky. The sky is orange, indicating that it is now sunset.
“Time sure flies when you’re preoccupied with your thoughts.”
(I’ll keep walking until it get dark then I’ll find some shelter. Don’t know if it’d be safe to walk at night.)
Throughout his walk, he occasionally hears birds flying and chirping, a few scuttles across the ground and what looked like chipmunks getting from point A to point B.
(“This is kind of calming...If it weren’t for the current situation, I’d be even more soothed.)
Night begins to shroud the forest.
(“Alright, gotta find some find somewhere to sleep.)
He notes a rather giant tree in front of him.
(“Perfect”)
He sets himself down by the tree, a small smile adorns his face, eager to get some rest from the events that transpired...but at that exact moment of peace, a branch full of snow gives way with snow falling on Robin.
“AH!” *sigh* “Really!? Guess I’ll find another tree but one that has no snow on it’s branches already.”
He gets up but notices out of the corner of his eye, a wooden shack.
“Oh thank God! See you later trees, I got a shack waiting for me to sleep in!”
He sprints, wanting to get to the shack as soon as possible. Once there, he tests the door.
(“It's open! Yes! Sleep, here I come.)
He opens the shack… only to reveal a girl already residing in it.
(Huh?)
The girl is shown with her back towards Robin, and begins to speak
“Thank you….”
