Nova Gaia, a world fraught with suffering brought about by the folly of it's inhabitants has finally achieved an uneasy age of peace.   Ever since the Dark God, Baal, whose dark dominion started over a century ago was defeated within the last decade, many thought it would finally usher in a dawn of a new era of friendship and prosperity between races and their respective kingdoms. The believers of this idealistic notion were correct... For a short period of time.   As the various kingdoms and nations of the world struggle to rebuild the devastation that was caused in ousting the God of destruction, some seek to further their own standing within the world by using the aftermath of the great war to their own ends.   Follow the stories of a few people who will eventually shape and mold the outcome of the new era. An infamous and mysterious mercenary, indebted to the princess of the floating city. A naive swordsman who seeks to find his tribe's missing goddess. A steam knight defecting from his country and a seeker who wishes to find her fallen kingdom's long lost prince and return him to his righteous post.   Time moves forward, and the die of fate is cast once again, as the winds of war stir once more.   ------------------- Author's note/s So this story will have multiple POV's, and might start off a bit slow. Note: The world I am creating uses magic, swords, guns and mechs all in one big mosh pit of a steampunk-esque world so it might take some time for you to get used to it (and for me to write it properly) so, constructive criticism is encouraged I guess, since I want to get better. Note 2: Not sure if cyberpunk tag also includes steampunk, but I tagged it just in case, I will remove it if it doesn't however.
