Synopsis
The Demon Lord and his malevolent realm had been defeated. Demonkind slaughtered to near extinction, the world finally found peace. The Four Heroes were revered as the saviours of all light born, standing as undeniable symbols of “peace, loyalty, and justice,” even decades after the war. However, the Hero Daythen did not feel that she was truly the beacon of light everyone else saw her as. She doubted the necessity of her missions, the righteousness of the World Alliance, and even the Heroes’ Party itself, yet alone in this thought, she drowned in drink, guilt and depression.
30 years after the death of the Demon Lord, the world faced a new crisis once again. It was not the ghoulish black magic of the Liches, nor the chaotic arcane of the Devilian Cult, but rather, a peasant revolt, born from famine, slavery, and feudal oppression. Daythen in her centuries of life had learned since long ago that insurrection never fed the hungry, but as conspiracies unravel, tyranny bared, and the masses rage against promises betrayed, everything she once knew began to fall apart. Following a path that put her at odds with old friends. Daythen faced the demons of her past as she raised her staff for a new world better than the last. Even if it meant fighting her old companions, It was a revolution, no matter the cost.
