Lyra, Clay, and Belle, three superhuman college students in New Olympus, the island paradise for people with superpowers, find themselves in a heap of trouble when their stupid fight over a love-triangle goes catastrophically wrong. Their fight culminates in a tragic accident that leaves a campus janitor dead. As they try to bury the truth and face a mountain of guilt and fear, the police are closing in, headmaster Pierce and the teacher's council are breathing down their necks, and their own friends grow suspicious. If they want to keep living inside this island, they have to pull off the impossible.
