Synopsis
In the begining there were the gods, there was the darkness and there was a war; but I've suppose you've heard all of this before... Well that is not our story.
The kingdom of Aramos stands at the border of the unknown, a stretch of mountains scathed by time, and riddled with horrors wrought from the delusions of madmen. Behind it lies the sea and the sky and a world of peace and beauty untamed fields of grass and wide plains of farmland, but the eyes of the human race never did stray far from those looming hills which pronounced doom for all whom they ensnared. But intrepid souls remained, those who would brave death and darkness in pursuit of knowledge and fame and fortune; those who peered into the unknown unfraid, those who in time came to be known as adventurers. Soon this new cast of men and women founded a city; Helbos, they built it from the ground up; high stone walls, vast markets and paved roads leading out across the nation. They became a new frontier, humanity advanced forwards through the hills and the woods and the vallies, through lands capped by ice and reigned in fire and it was glorius but in the end the dream had to die.
The City of Helbos vanishes, the adventurers scatter, the unknown looms above them once more. The only clues to the cities destruction lie in the testaments of its people, in the blue moon that appeared that night to rain down death and the strange mage who called that light forth. Here a journey begins; and whether it shall lead to hope or despair it is one humanity must take together or face true anihilation.
