Synopsis
Neurocradle is a once-prestigious technological breakthrough turned urban legend in the heart of NeoNexus. Originally conceived as a biomedical facility capable of preserving human consciousness in digital form, it promised a new frontier where death could be transcended—an afterlife of neural data and virtual landscapes.
However, the seemingly miraculous technology succeeded too well. Hushed rumors spread of “ghosts” lingering inside the system, half-aware consciousnesses unable to rest. Mysterious disappearances and disturbing anomalies forced the corporation to abandon the project, leaving behind a sprawling complex full of defective VR pods, corrupted memory files, and digital shadows of people long since deceased.
