An energy source of unparalleled efficiency and power was discovered deep in the Pacific Ocean: Mercury. Soon, the world ran on it and an independent archipelago--the Sky-Sea Archipelago-- was constructed around the largest mining site. The capital of this archipelago is a towering metropolis made up of floating islands. However, underneath the glitz and glamour of the city, runs deep lines of unrest as multiple parties from the Mafia and foreign powers wrestle for control of this precious resource. Just as tensions are almost boiling over, Kyte, a graduate student with a vision, arrives at the capital and soon becomes the catalyst for the complete upheaval and restructuring of the Sky-Sea Archipelago.
