In the beginning, there was Chaos - a primordial soup of existence where light and dark, matter and anti-matter existed in the same place, a mad cauldron of contradiction where no coherent rule survived it's inception. Then, there was light, and there was dark, and the Chaos separated into two realms. From light came fire, and air. From dark came water, and earth. And as they mixed, the world came to be, bringing forth life. In this spiraling madness of creation, there came to be entities that formed themselves from the essence of the elements themselves - the gods. For Light, came Oberon - The Bright One. For Dark, came Nocta - Ruler of Shadow.  And from them, came the other gods, and life itself. However Light seeks to illuminate, and dark seeks to engulf - thus dooming the siblings to an eternity of conflict.
