A rain. A drizzle. A storm. All of the brings life and all of them scare life away. Frogs and amphibians thrive in it and plants thrive after.  Birds and other creatures flee from it, hiding, and they appear after. What if... Just what if... What if those hiding are humans and those thriving are our hunters? What if the forests and rocks are consumed by a tide of corals and sand, tearing the woods so they can anchor in their watery depths? What I present is not a story of human persistence nor endurance, or even dominance. There are creatures more hardy and adaptable than humans. I present to you an Ecosystem. A new world to come and replace the old one. Get aboard for the rain is coming. /////////// Upfront. No murderhobo characters, no edgy whiny cool kid character, no hero wannabe, no horny teenagers, no harem, no echi, no humanoid monsters of ANY kind, and no bikini monsters. Also no indestructible swords or blades. There are no miracle swords here that can cut steel or rocks just because of 'magic.' Try hitting the blade of a sword(or knife) on a rock and you'll know why. What the story is. -Lit-rpg. -Survival on a changing and watery world. -There is a lot of fog involved. -Survival. -Litrpg system with real stake and consequences in every power they get. -Human form slowly becoming non-human. Further explanation. -This is not a human centric story and it will never shows things like "Humans number 1!" "Humans are the best!" "Humans are perfect!"  -If you are a human supremacist, perhaps there are better stories out there than this one. -There won't be any humanoid creatures here because that is boring. Even a creature mutated from humans will look far from being human. So, no goblins and such, but expect twisted monsters with weird anatomy. -In support of that, there are no monsters in bikini. This is not an erotic story and doesn't serve to satisfy the sexual cravings of anyone. -Also, the characters are adults and not teenagers that are hero wannabe.  -This is not a story about defying against all odds. -This is not a story about going against fate or destiny. -This is not a story about going against gods because there are none here. -This is not a story solely about getting stronger or acquiring more power. -This is a story about life, about being a part of an ecosystem, and it is about survival. About genre and tags. Scif is there for good measure. Non human lead because their humanity is not permanent.
