A story that features a thought i had while pondering on the nature of sentience, Synopsis: A human being is not the first to gain the powerful gift of mana, as humans are not the only recipient of life's ever random gifts A panda inside the convines of a zoo's protected enclosure has gained true sentience and hyperintelligence. With the use of it's new mind the gears that drives the world has shifted. Author's note: Please differentiate intelligence with wisdom or knowledge, our panda will not be instantly smart nor strong because he has no access to knowledge, information nor opposable thumbs to access the internet with. In my humble opinion, the definition of intelligence is how fast the brain processes and stores new information, while wisdom is how much information / knowledge that the brain has and as well as how to best use said information / knowledge. For simplicity's sake, imagine if stephen hawking has lost all his memory, but retains his intelligence, then double or triple that intelligence. This story is merely a thought experiment, thus i will write this story only for fun unless something in the future changes. This story will not have any RPG elements, but will have magic, though i will put a lot of limits on the magic system to prevent characters from becoming overpowered.
