Tina the Tigress is a soft little cub,  Born into a family of wild beasts,  And when they chew their prey down to bone and nub,  Tina is known to avoid all of their feasts.  Her ribs appear to be pushing out her flesh, And she is often unable to keep pace.  But no matter what, Tina chooses to thresh,  Refusing to devolve to something so base.  Tina’s mother, knowing no other option,  Leaves with her streak as the youthful Tigress sleeps:  “Perhaps another will elect for adoption,  Or with time my Tina will awaken from her sleep.”
