The arena has long since been a place to seek fame, glory, riches, and some semblance of immortality. Though the arena's face changes, the spirit remains the same. Blood is turned into coin, and there are those that would give it all for such bounty. Magic and technology, as two sides to the same signed contract, have formulated protective barriers, regenerating systems, Soul Controls to limit power, and so on. With all these advancements, a new face has been given to the time-honored tradition of the arena. All people are welcome to put their bodies on the line... though, you never truly die in the arena.
