Wynter Forrest knew nothing about his parents. His biological ones died in a fire when he was too young to remember, at least according to his adoptive father, who would dodge the subject every time he asked about them. To make matters worse, he also knew little to nothing about his adoptive father. The two of them moved extremely often, living mostly in peaceful, rural areas, and he was never given an explanation as to why, or how his father was coming up with the money for this.  Everything changed one day when his adoptive father woke him up at noon. As he tried to ask him what was going on, he saw that outdoors was pitch-black, as if it was midnight. A mysterious man who claimed to be related to him attempts to murder him and his father, before his father teleports him away. Wynter is left stranded in the middle of nowhere until he is found by two students and a teacher of the mysterious Three Honors Academy. Will Wynter be able to find out who his adoptive father truly was? Will he learn the truth about his birth parents?
