In the magestic land of Ayrel, humans and mystical creatures such as elves and orcs coexist peacefully, with wizards and mages being among the highest rulers of the government.  Banished from her prestigious mage family by her uncle after the assissination of her father,  Eris is now a skilled mage, proficient in every type of magic. The only magic she hasn't mastered is Black Ether, which can only be practiced by the elusive demon elves.  After finding the cave where they reside, Eris comes across, Zorin Henscithe, a young and gifted demon elf who is apparently the last of his species. Oh, and he's also a masochist for pain. Now the two have to put aside a bad first impression to work together in order to find Eris's uncle and take back the power and status that was unfairly stolen from her. That is if Zorin doesn't drive Eris insane first.
