Romano, an old Italian archivist in the Vatican's Secret Library. He's a man recovering from the death of his long dead wife with the help of his children. While editing the library's books, a certain Ottoman history book about the time of Suleiman the Magnificent catches his eye. He dies with the book next to him, it's first page open in a fire. He was supposed to meet with his wife in the afterlife, not get reborn in a magical counterpart of his world in 1520, as the Sultan Suleiman no less. He just hopes his time in the Archives help him. This story is about another version of Earth where magic was present from start to end. Everything goes according to the original timeline, just with magic. This is my first Original Novel, so please bear with me.
