Synopsis
Kenric Wulf is a minor lord in charge of protecting the Kingdom of Yareth's Northern Border. It is a thankless, gruelling task. So, when instead of the reinforcements he constantly requests, he gets the duke's daughter, Elizabeth Fliangris, as a fiancé instead, he understandably doesn't care. He knows why he's been sent her: Her previous fiancé, the Prince, in the Royal Academy confronted her for trying to get a peasant student that he preferred kicked out, and now her name has been tarnished.
However, despite her disgrace, Elizabeth is capable in many ways beneficial to Kenric. Having been sent her might just be an incredible blessing in disguise.
