Muddied Waters is the first book in a fantasy series that follows three main characters. Mondrovia Armadi is a mercenary on the run from her former gang who befriends a mythical warrior. Aliprand Brecht is employed by the king of Moslecht and contracted to do his dirty work, snuffing out deceit wherever it may lurk, leading him to dark places where he begins to question his loyalties. Ivo Dermont is an estranged noble turned traveling writer. After fleeing the free city of Cova he finds solace in a refugee camp. Travelling and documenting his time with the refugees, he sees the lives of the less privileged up close and personal.
