The universe is a simulation that's running out of resources. Someone is going to turn it on and off again and our protagonist gets a free ride to another universe. Mr. Kine is murdered while sitting next to his new bride on their way west, to a new home on the frontier, but with an open body and a soul to slot, a man from earth gets a second chance at life in a universe not his own. This is a progression story. It will have some litRPG elements, but not heavy on the math. It starts with a slow burn in a time loop as a way to explain the nature of the systems as play. Earth man with no skills and no powers at all has to survive in a world with monsters (which we don't see for a while (Again slow burn)) I've spent a lot of time worldbuilding so everything should be consistent.
