Synopsis
Just as the last remnants of humanity stand poised to reclaim their world from the eldritch horrors that nearly destroyed it, the multiverse collapses. Countless realities are forced together like shards in a mosaic, each governed by its own strange laws. Some territories hold untold wealth; others are wastelands where only death thrives. And some carry apocalypses waiting to spread.
Now, humanity’s survival hinges on an uneasy alliance. Can they band together with realms of ice, steam, abundance and more, or will they fall, each divided and consumed by the catastrophes closing in from every side?To pull back the curtain a bit, I get too many ideas. I keep writing like 20,000 words into a story then getting obsessed with another world and want to write that world instead. But I also want a story with a cohesive through-line, this is my solution to that, a story that can satisfy every desire I have, while still allowing me to write a (hopefully) compelling narrative.I try to show, not tell, but that has it's limiations ofc, especially when dealing with hard sci-fi so some things in the story may seem like they make no sense, but trust me, there's a logic to it behind the curtains.
