Core worlds of Milkway Galaxy are organised into Federation. Somewhere on fringes are enemies and for peace loving Galaxians only hope of survival are few warrior races withing their ranks and price they demand for protecting others. Most powerfull of guardian races every 1000 years is asking for their pay and Federation obliged. Fa'enni- race incapable of violence was betrayed by everyone in Galaxy Federation and used to pay for safety of others. But this price is payed in blood.
