A Dhampir is taken in by a group of monks off the stre-, forest. He lives in the mountains with them until an event (portal) takes him away and into a new, strange world that he doesn’t much like.  In this new world, he will face many more challenges than in his previous. Perhaps his greatest one is trying to befriend a silent  Ork that also ‘fell’ through another portal to the same universe, at almost the same time… Crazy coincidence, right!? ——— On the opposite side of the portal, the Hero Lexus must gather his group, the Hero’s Party, but finds his task nearly impossible as they all… keep disappearing damnit!  His map that guides him to any goal, which he uses as some kind of party finder compass, is quite useless when he never gets there on time. The only party member that he has, Aurora, is quite the ‘handful’ to deal with.  ‘She called me a big grump’, is a recurring thought that keeps him awake at night. He seems to never be able to sleep with this ‘curse’ running through his head.
