Decades ago magic entered our world, and not all of it was benevolent, humanity was granted special abilities to help them survive.  How they used these gifts was up to them, and groups were formed to fight against the creatures, that was how the Guilds were formed. The Guilds were the only line of defense for so long that they thought themselves invincible, but would they be enough to fight against a threat that could destroy the world?
