Synopsis
Emilia McIntyre has always felt in between, like she didn’t quite fit in this category or that. And at the end of her Freshman year, after a game of pickup basketball in the gym, she realizes something has changed. Something about her.
Afraid the others at summer camp will know just how different she is, Emilia only goes at her parents’ insistence.
MIMIC AT SUMMER CAMP is a story about becoming comfortable in one's own body, about refusing to be defined by others, about standing up to elemental fiends of power. It is my fifth novel, written between February 10, 2019 and June 29, 2019.
